On 20 February 2020, the 2020 Sabor del Año Restauración (Restaurant Industry’s Taste of the Year) awards were held at Ainia technological centre in Paterna, Valencia, with Scanfisk winning two awards.

The Azorfisk Squid and the Ultrafish Cod won the Sabor del Año Restauración 2020 Award in recognition of product quality on the part of the restaurant industry. It consists of product evaluation by professional chefs under real conditions of use.

The chefs mark the products from 1 to 10 in accordance with various parameters such as: taste, interest, practicality and general satisfaction. Only the products which gain a mark over 6 can be considered for the award, the winner of which attains the highest mark in their category.

Other brands, also known for their products, took part in the event, such as: Philadelphia, Central Lechera Asturiana, Valor, Zumosol, Ken Foods, Makro, Angulas Aguinaga, Risso, Sarrade, Bollo.
